Burberry's Logo Evolution
Burberry's historic logo featured an equestrian knight emblem with the word "Prorsum," which symbolized the brand's heritage for over a century. This design was synonymous with their identity until 2018.
Key Rebranding in 2018
In May 2018, under creative director Riccardo Tisci, Burberry launched a complete rebranding. They introduced a new logo characterized by:
- A minimalist sans-serif "BURBERRY" wordmark in all caps.
- A modern "TB" monogram pattern replacing the knight symbol.
This change marked a shift towards a contemporary aesthetic.

Current Status
Burberry no longer uses the old logo in new products, campaigns, or digital platforms. Since the 2018 rebrand, the equestrian knight logo has been fully phased out and is only referenced in archival contexts.
